Even though Hatte
Grammont, Petite Desdunes, is located close to three airports such as P-au-P
International Toussaint Louverture Airport, Cap-Haitien Airport and Santiago de
los Caballeros’, Hatte Grammont still face the lack of drinking water. Since decades,
populations and animals used to struggle to get water, hence a lot of diseases
and transmissible diarrheas. Recently, a few years ago, cholera was on the
rise. But, today, many people living aboard
such as M. Michelot Youte and his countrymen want to solve this problem.
They plan to set up a system for water distribution and consequently start moving
forward with the project. M. Youte is the chairman of ODGH, the French acronym
for Organiá´¢ation Pour Le Developpement Des Goanives et d'Haiti.
Meanwhile, the ODGH group is opening a 11 km long road to Desdunes, to ease traffic and exchange overthere. Really, Desdunes is on the move.
M. Youte has many helpers such as Mrs Laroche Casseus, Colas Andre Michel, Lucien Pierre, and Saint Armand Darilus.
